Back in San Diego after a busy (and rewarding summer). I had the joy of directing a group of amazing kids in the Chequamegon Children's Theatre's production of Honk! (which I also lighting designed). Then, on to the happiest place on earth, Bristol Valley Theatre, to direct the world-premiere of Amber Palmer's play It's a Small World, or, The Robot Play and appear in Amy and the Orphans

Summer is going to be an adventure! First up, I'm heading to Cable, WI to direct the Chequamegon Children's Theatre's annual musical - this year, it's Honk! You can check out the awesome work these kids do here. Then, it's off to lovely Bristol Valley Theatre in upstate New York to first direct the world-premiere of It's a Small World, or, The Robot Play by Amber Palmer, and then to appear in Amy and the Orphans.

Kate was under the impression that she was supposed to be preparing for the zombie apocalypse, not the plague apocalypse. If you're bored waiting for the zombies to show up, you can check out Kate in Bristol Valley Theatre's BVT @ Home series - she appears in Strong by Dominic Orlando, and directed The Wheel Woman by Vincent Delaney. In addition, the Roustabouts Theatre Co is streaming Margin of Error, which Kate appeared in in 2017, until Aug. 23 as part of their Second Stage Virtual Series. Check it out here

Kate is delighted to be continuing her work as a founding member of Loud Fridge Theatre Group. They have recently started pre-production and casting for the upcoming San Diego premiere of Rachel Bublitz's Ripped, which Kate will be co-directing with Leigh Akin. Find out more about Loud Fridge here

Arabian Shakespeare Festival's Twelfth Night, in which Kate played Viola, cleaned up at the annual Theatre Bay Area (TBA) awards, winning Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Production awards

Kate has an exciting and jam-packed summer lined up. First up, she returns to Scripps Ranch Theatre to appear in Move Over Mrs. Markham, playing in June. Then, she makes her directorial debut with the San Diego premiere of Straight, presented by Loud Fridge Theatre Group. Last but not least, she returns to Bristol Valley Theatre to perform in Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily. While there, she will also direct a staged reading and assistant direct a world premiere musical, The King's Legacy. Phew!
